Studies

Well-founded, varied, hands-on

In the Bachelor's degree program in Education for Business and Economics, you will learn and apply the most important fundamentals from business and education. The focus is on the professional, psychological, and methodological tools to design teaching and learning in the commercial area of vocational education and basic business and economic education. In the profile phase of the program, you can decide which specialized knowledge you would like to build up in addition to the fundamentals you have acquired. You can choose from several profile areas in business administration or general education – depending on your particular interests and strengths.

After your studies

Designing vocational training and continuing education

As a graduate of the Bachelor's program in Education for Business and Economics, you will have the knowledge to work in companies where people are the focus. These include in-company training and continuing education departments as well as personnel and organizational development units. Activities in personnel and training management or in adult education are also possible. If teaching is your passion, you can also pursue a career in vocational education teaching. For this you will still need a Master's degree and a subsequent traineeship. No matter what you decide, qualified professionals are in high demand in both fields.

Testimonials

What our alumni say

"I actually always wanted to be a teacher and started my studies with that in mind. During my studies, however, I also gained practical experience in the HR departments of companies and considered possibly pursuing a corporate career after all. In the end, I decided to teach at a school – but if I do decide to work for a company again, I've already made some valuable contacts." Rodopi Giagkazoglou
