The diversity of excellent teaching will be the focus of the Day of Teaching 2026. In addition to the Hohenheim Teaching Award, which was presented to Dr. Sebastian Munz on dies academicus, six new teaching prizes will be awarded.
The prize categories are:
- Prize for the best lecture in smaller groups
- Prize for the best lecture in larger groups
- Prize for the best seminar
- Prize for the best application-oriented course
- Prize for the best course on sustainability
- Prize for the best examination design
In addition, the Baden-Württemberg Certificates for University Didactics will once again be handed over to those who has successfully completed the certificate.
Oliver Häußler, who is responsible for strategic consulting in science communication and public engagement at Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen and is the co-founder of Grasshopper Kreativ, a science communication agency, will be the M.C. for the program.
