The Ethics Committee examines ethical issues related to research projects at the University of Hohenheim. The Ethics Committee acts as a body for the ethical evaluation (Ethical Approval) of planned projects.

Please note:
If you require an “Ethical Approval,” you must submit your request BEFORE the research work is started. Projects that have already been started or completed cannot be reviewed by the Committee!
Please take into account the respective processing times and possible delays due to queries etc. when planning your studies.
We would like to point out that there may be longer processing times during the summer break and at the turn of the year.
In an advisory capacity, the Ethics Committee may be contacted at any time.
Ethical review requests should be for individual, clearly delineated surveys/investigations. Blanket reviews of entire research projects such as complete dissertation / habilitation projects are not possible. They require a specific presentation of the individual study components.
