Program in November

Topic of the month:

Economy and society - Living bioeconomically

The transition to a bio-based economy and lifestyle must involve the entire society. Research gets to the bottom of the social, political, and economic aspects of this change - and supports smart ideas with which everyone can contribute to it in everyday life.
Off-topic events complement the thematic focus.

Unless otherwise noted, all events are held in German.

The CU theme day on 5 November 2020 is entitled "Biocomposites with a focus on - Natural-fiber reinforced plastics". It is technically supervised by the CU working group "Biocomposites" and by the Industrievereinigung Verstärkte Kunststoffe e.V. (AVK) and is supported and co-organized by the CU regional department "CC West."

Markus Götz from the Department of Conversion Technologies of Biobased Resources at the University of Hohenheim will be one of the speakers on the topic of the day:

From field to lab to industry - Biorefineries as tools of the bioeconomy?

This is a public event held by the professional network Composites United e.V., to which non-members are also invited. Registration is required, and the information for attending will then be sent.
