This is bioeconomy!

A University of Hohenheim original podcast

Making the bioeconomy audible

The consequences could be devastating. And time is short: Climate change, species extinction, finite resources - so let's get busy! All of us together can create change. In this podcast, we want to find out where the journey is headed.

We’ll start off at the University of Hohenheim. Here, under the flagship topic of “bioeconomy," research and teaching is being carried out on how the sustainable economy of tomorrow can become a reality. At the same time, the topic is also a personal concern for many students of the Gamechanger generation.

Whether it’s the insect protection on our doorstep, green startups, or strategies to sustainably feed the growing world population: In each 15 to 20-minute episode, Corinna Schmid and Florian Leonhardmair chat with students and researchers to learn a different answer to the question: What is Bioeconomy?
