We prepare you for management or analyst positions. These could include joining a multinational company as a business analyst or working in an interdisciplinary capacity in a start-up. Potential employers include multinational companies, international organizations (including NGOs), service companies, and start-up companies. Ideally, you already choose your focus according to your intended career field. If you would like to continue developing your scientific knowledge and skills, you can also apply for a doctoral program.

CareerCenter Hohenheim

We provide career orientation advising and career entry support

The CareerCenter Hohenheim (CCH) is the first point of contact for you when it comes to career orientation and career entry. According to a nationwide survey by the market research institute Trendence, our students value CCH as a springboard to their career.

We will support you and answer your questions on the following topics:

  • Planning your studies with a view to your future career
  • Developing your own professional profile
  • Finding suitable positions for internships, working student jobs, and direct entry
  • Putting together application documents
  • Establishing contacts with companies

Every year in the winter semester, the CareerCenter organizes the CareerDays career fair for business and economics majors. Here you can get to know future employers, and gain an impression of professional fields of activity.

Admission requirements

1. Completed Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Economics or degree in the fields of business administration, management, and economics of at least 6 semesters from a domestic or foreign university or in an equivalent degree program
2. Sufficient English language skills (proof of TOEFEL, IELTS, UNIcert or German university entrance qualification, except for native speakers and applicants who have completed an English-language Bachelor's degree)

Selection criteria Yes, see admission regulations
Application to a higher semester is possible for the winter semester (application deadline: 15 May) and summer semester (application deadline: 15 Jan) possible.
