Abstract

2-Chlordiazaborolidine (I) and N-silylated sulfur nitrogen compds. with sulfur in the 4+ or 6+ oxidn. state react to give thermally-stable boranes, e.g. Me2S(O):NB(NMeCH2)2 and O:C:NB(NMeCH2)2. Reactions with other chlorboranes like (Me2N)2BCl, II, Ph2BCl or PhBCl2 gave less stable or unstable compds.
