Self-study courses online

The Language Center continues to offer self-learning courses (in cooperation with the learning platform altissia). These are particularly suitable as a supplement to one of our normal language courses. What and how much you learn is up to you. You will not receive a certificate of achievement or certificate of participation.

These courses are available in the languages:

  • English (levels A1 to C1)
  • German (levels A1 to C1)
  • Spanish (levels A1 to C1)
  • French (levels A1 to C1)
  • Italian (levels A1 to C1)
  • Portuguese (levels A1 to B2)

Other languages (at levels A1-A2) may also be available on request.

Registration

To sign up, please send an email with your personal details (surname, first name, date of birth, matriculation number and Hohenheim email address) to spraz@ua.uni-hohenheim.de.

A few days after we receive your payment, you will be granted access to the self-study platform. If you have any queries, please contact spraz@ua.uni-hohenheim.de.

Costs

For a fee of € 25 (students) or € 50 (employees), interested parties receive access to the learning platform with all available modules in the chosen language for 6 months.
