Applicants with a university entrance qualification and citizenship from a non-EU country

 
As of WS 2022, an additional application via uni-assist is no longer necessary.
 

The information on this page is relevant to you if you:

  • have a university entrance qualification from a country outside the EU, e.g. Matura, A-levels, high school diploma, baccalaureat, Atestat, Gaocao, etc.
  • need to attend a Studienkolleg or already successfully completed a Studienkolleg and passed the assessment test.
  • already have or do not yet have recognition of your foreign diploma by a German degree recognition office for foreign education qualifications.
  • have an international baccalaureate (IB Diploma).

Before you apply for a degree program, read the information about the formal requirements, the application process, and the required documents carefully. This will make the application process much easier for you and helps you to avoid mistakes and delays.

  • Winter semester 30 September (if you must attend a Studienkolleg beforehand, then the deadline is 15 July!)
  • Summer semester 31 March (if you must attend a Studienkolleg beforehand, then the deadline is 15 January!)
