Conceptualization of degree programs

The University degree programs are subject to the State Higher Education Act (Landeshochschulgesetz) as well as national and European regulations.

A degree program is described in several documents:

Depending on the level at which changes are made, different actors are involved.

The curriculum and module catalog in an existing degree program may be changed by the Faculty committees.

If the examination regulations are to be changed, then the approval of the University committees is also necessary (process corresponds to the procedure when establishing a new degree program).

The procedure in the case of changes is different depending on the faculty.
