Short-Term Scholarships for Foreign Students (STIBET)

Aim of the award:
  • End of studies scholarship
  • Short-term scholarship with supervision
The goal is to enable international students who are in financial need through no fault of their own to concentrate on completing their studies. Short-term scholarships with supervision are to improve the supervision of international students by scholarship-holders taking on supervision tasks coordinated with the Office of International Affairs.
Applicants:

International students who are enrolled in a regular Bachelor's or Master's program at Hohenheim and are already writing their Bachelor's or Master's thesis.

Requirements:

  • good coursework
  • financial need / emergency situation
  • social or university political involvement is desirable
Required documents
  • Letter of motivation with information about your previous studies and about the previous support or about the financing of your studies through work, work as a student assistant, etc.
  • CV with description of your studies to date
  • Transcript of records and, if applicable, proof of having registered for the final thesis
  • Letter of recommendation from the thesis supervisor. The letter of recommendation should have a scale showing how far along the student is in his/her work and when graduation is expected.
