Abstract

Cyclization of Cl2BCMe:CMeBCl2 with (Me3Si)2X gave 77-90% I (X = S, NMe, MeNNMe), which were methylated with Me4Sn to give II (X = S, NMe). Similarly, Cl2BCH2CH2BCl2 Me3SiNMeNMeSiMe3 gave 85% III.
