Online registration for all German courses (7.04.-10.04.2026)
- Register yourself online worldwide on https://www.uni-hohenheim.de/en/language-center. Registration starts on the 7th of April at 10am and ends on the 10th of April at 12pm. Courses start 13.04.26.
- You are you an absolute beginner? Please click on “Deutsch A1.1” and on the green button of your chosen time.
- You passed A1.1? Click on “A1.2” and on the green button of your chosen time. Additionally click on Sprachtraining for extra oral training or other BRICKS courses.
- Same for all other levels (A1-B2), f.e. You passed A2.2? Click on “B1.1” and on the green button of your chosen time. Click on Sprachtraining II for extra oral training or BRICKS courses.
- You did not pass or sit the exam of your last German course? Please repeat your level or assess your German skills in 30 minutes – free test anytime only at the Mediothek in the Euroforum. You scored too low or too high in the Placement test for your German course? Please contact us during consultation hours to get the right course for you.
You do not need to take the placement test if:
- you are an absolute beginner and have never learned any German
- you have already passed a German language course at Hohenheim
Start of courses: 13.4.2026. Make sure to attend your first class!

When?
In person: Tue 7.4.26 and Thu 10am-12:30pm in Alte Botanik Room 217 (2nd floor) and Wed 08.4. 12pm-2pm in the Mediothek of the Euroforum (Sprachencafé)
Consultations after start of courses: Please write an email to Dr. Uta Aifan: uta.aifan@ua.uni-hohenheim.de to make an appointment (including your name, course titel, C-Test points, date of birth, matriculation number)
Course fees: €12.50 per SWS for students and PHDs: For Example, a beginner’s course with 4 teaching units per week will cost you €50 for the complete semester (employees of the University of Hohenheim: €25 per SWS). Guests may only attend if there are places left and after consultation with Mrs. Aifan: €50 per SWS.
