Online enrollment for all German courses (7–10 Apr 2026)
- Simply register online at https://www.uni-hohenheim.de/sprachenzentrum from Tues 7 Apr 2026, 10 a.m. until Fri 10 Apr 2026, 12 noon (also for students who are abroad). Note: Courses start right away on 13 Apr 26!
- Choose a German course depending on your score in the placement test (e.g. passed B1.2 =>B2.1). You scored too low or too high in the placement test for your German course? Please contact us for personal advice!
- B2.2 or C1? Depending on your wishes, you may take one to three courses per semester at the same time.
- C1 certificate (e.g. TestDaF 4x4)? You do not need to take a test! Please send the certificate by email to Dr. Aifan or show it to her in a personal appointment.
- Free-of-charge placement test for German in just 30 minutes without an appointment on request with instructions only in the Mediothek in the Euroforum or online. Please be honest for best results!

Simply register online without a test if:
- You have passed a final exam of a German course at the University of Hohenheim
- You have never learned German (beginner I)
- UNIcert II certificate (after 2-4 B2 German courses at University of Hohenheim)

In person: Tue 7 Apr 26 and Thu 9 Apr 26 from 10:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m. in Alte Botanik 217 (2nd upper level) as well as Wed 8 Apr from 12 noon–2 p.m. in the Mediothek of the Language Center in the Euroforum (language café)
Advice after courses start:To schedule an appointment, please send an email to Dr. Aifan: uta.aifan@ua.uni-hohenheim.de, stating your name, course title, level, date of birth, C test scores, and matriculation number.
Contribution toward expenses: € 12.50 per SWS for students, € 25 per SWS for employees, €50 / SWS for guests only for remaining places and after discussion with Ms. Aifan.
