The coordinators advise students on organizational questions related to their studies (structure and carrying out studies, problems during studies, and questions about the curriculum and examination regulations).

The academic program advisors of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences are happy to assist students with

• information and assistance with the choice of specialization, the selection of modules, and general questions about the organization of studies and examinations.
• Subject advising for students who wish to change their degree program in the 3rd or higher semester.
• Description of subject, group advising, model curricula, case study development
• Description of career fields

At the beginning of the specialization study period in the Bachelor's programs, the students of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences prepare a study and examination plan. The appropriateness of the chosen module combination must be discussed and the consultation confirmed by signature.

The advising session can be conducted and confirmed with the respective coordinator or academic program advisor. In the Master's programs of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, an advising session for module selection is not obligatory, but can be held with the coordinator or academic program advisor if required. For Bachelor’s students, proof of an advising session must be submitted to the Examinations Office no later than one week before the first examination registration in the specialization study period (i.e. submit the signed form to the SIZ or drop it in the mailbox of the Examinations Office).

Bachelor’s students in the specialization study period are not allowed to register for exams without submitting proof of advising. You can find the form on the Examinations Office website.

The academic program advisors in the Faculty of Natural Sciences:

• give detailed information on the content of a degree program,
• answer questions on structuring and organizing studies, e.g. on designing a schedule and study plan as well as general exam issues,
• advise on matters related to building a profile or specialization area in a degree program,
• provide advice when changing from one degree program to a higher subject-related semester, and
• carry out the mandatory academic program advising that must be done if you want to change your degree program and have already completed three or more university semesters.
