In the past months, the campus became host to many ideas and initiatives aimed at helping the refugees staying in the region around the University or studying here feel welcome. A broad range of cooperating initiatives of student groups helps refugees to establish contact with their neighbors and to get acquainted with the University.

TMS Begegnungscafé - Café of Encounters

Language makes friends - The student group GlobalCampus helps university members and refugees to find partners for language and cultural exchange. more

From foreigner to friend - Together with the Freundeskreis Flüchtlinge Plieningen-Birkach, student groups include neighboring refugees in activities on Hohenheim’s campus. more
