Signature (legally binding)

Only the President of the University or his authorized representatives can provide a legally binding signature for the University of Hohenheim.

  • For the University of Hohenheim, this can only be given by the President or his authorized representatives.
  • The legally binding signature by the president serves to protect  the researchers from personal liability or department / institution liability.
  • Documents not legally signed have no official validity if there are problems, i.e. possible liabilities and legal risks may fall back on the signatory not authorized by the university.
  • The Research and Transfer Services Department will be happy to obtain the legally binding signature for you.
  • Please allow at least two working days for this, as we only submit documents that have been checked by us and the process takes some time.
  • Legally binding signatures in electronic form are possible at the UHOH, however they need to be coordinated with the Research and Transfer Services Department in advance.
