Construction measures for research projects

Any construction measures that may be necessary to carry out your research project must already be considered and planned for when you apply for your research project.

If you would like to apply for research projects for which construction measures will be necessary, please contact the Construction and Property Management Department in advance for advice.

Preparing and implementing the structural measures can have temporal, financial, and construction effects that you will need to consider and include when applying for your research projects.

What is a construction project?

  • Connection of large devices to building media

(e.g. gas connections, connections to existing ventilation systems, electrical connections, etc.)

  • Fixed installations of autoclaves, large equipment,

which have to be fitted into the existing building structure and the building technology.

  • Extension of ventilation and cooling systems or extension of the building structure

    for the research project

  • Temporary buildings:

Container installation, foil greenhouses, other modular structures that require building permits

  • New construction

    for the research project

  • Structures requiring building permits,

which require connection to the building media as well as foundation measures

  • Measures that affect the infrastructure of the surrounding area
