This result is based on a recent analysis by the comparison portal "StudyCheck", where students nationwide describe and rate their degree programs. In fact, the University of Hohenheim places special emphasis on innovative teaching, good supervision, and state-of-the-art degree programs. The University of Hohenheim scores points with its students for many reasons, including having the most beautiful campus in the state and a friendly and close-knit atmosphere. Above all, it offers its students the opportunity to help shape the university and develop solutions for a sustainable and digital future.


An example of one of Hohenheim’s unique features is the "Humboldt reloaded" research-based learning program. As early as their first semester, students can work independently on their own research projects in small groups.


Open to new things like ChatGPT and other developments

In addition, the university responds quickly but substantively to current topics. For example, as one of the first universities in Germany, it created a foundation for using ChatGPT effectively in studies and exams. Across all degree programs, it also established a special program on artificial intelligence and data science that is open to all students.


Other positive aspects included the desire to continually develop and involve students in the process. In addition, the university has advising services that are friendly and approachable, offering support and advice on all questions. The courses take place on campus while integrating and further developing digital components in a way that enriches teaching.
