Abstract

A knowledge book is the result of the elicitation/capitalization of the knowledge of an expert
during a series of interviews. The expert’s knowledge is often represented using models made available to
users through an IT system (the knowledge book not being a regular book). The literature on the structure
and presentation of the content of knowledge books is almost inexistent and too often in practice the usage of such static knowledge book remains very low. In this paper we propose the structure of a new generation of knowledge books based on Web 2.0 technologies (K-eBook 2.0) that addresses many of the limitations of the traditional knowledge books.
