Transport of Agrochemicals in a Watershed in Northern Thailand (SFB 564-B2.3)

Land use changes in the mountainous regions of Northern Thailand have been accom-panied by an increased input of agrochemicals, which might be transferred to rivers by surface and/or subsurface flow. Subproject B2.3 aims at modeling the transport of ag-rochemicals in the Mae Sa watershed (138 km2). The model will be integrated with land use and farm household models of the SFB and will be used to assess the effect of land use and land management changes on the fate of agrochemicals.
