Description

The project aims to assess the potential of different grain legumes and cereal grains to influence the composition and metabolic activity of the intestinal microbiota of the pig. The modified Hohenheimer Gas Test will be used to determine in different cereals and grain legumes the fermentation characteristics and the composition of the microbiota by means of Real-time-PCR.
