As part of the “Hohenheim Graduate School of Life Sciences,” doctoral candidates can enroll in one of the research training groups on offer.
Currently this is:
- Open cohort (interdisciplinary)
Further research training groups are currently being planned.
During the standard period of study of three years, examinations and coursework totaling 30 credits will be completed. These are divided into a compulsory area of 18 credits beyond the research training group, which includes, for example, an active conference visit, and a research study group-specific elective area. In the elective area, students select and complete modules worth 12 credits on the doctoral subject from the range of modules on offer within the framework of their chosen research training group.
