* More detailed information on the required placement results and course certificates can be found in the overview "The courses offered by the Language Center" published by the Language Center at the beginning of each semester. Course certificates acquired at other universities in the UNIcert® network can generally be recognized for the respective level and, if applicable, specialization. Alternative course certificates may be recognized on a case-by-case basis, provided that they have been awarded by an officially recognized institution and give sufficiently clear information about the language level (e.g. by referring to the European Framework of Reference for Languages). Recognition is granted by the instructors primarily employed by the Language Center.
