Student or Research Assistant

A student assistant (m/f/d) for the Department of International Relations at the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences (7 hours per week, pay grade 3 TV-L).

In the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences, we are seeking a student assistant (m/f/d) to support the International Relations Department:

Your tasks:

  • Assistance in organizing the international Summer School and support in coordinating international participants during the event
  • Collaboration in the post-event follow-up, evaluation, and further development of the Summer School

Your profile:

  • Studying a discipline in humanities, social sciences, or economics with an interest in event management and international perspectives 
  • Excellent German and English language skills, additional language proficiency is advantageous
  • Proficient in MS Office programs
  • Organizational skills, reliability, enthusiasm for international cooperation, independent work ethic, and interest in long-term collaboration

This position is temporary until September 30, 2025, and the duration will be aligned with the expected completion of your studies. The role is categorized under salary group 3 TV-L and entails 7 hours per week. Flexibility in working hours during exam periods and the option for home office are available.
