Research assistant (m/f/d)

The Gellrich Group at the University of Hohenheim develops metal-free catalysts for hydrogenation reactions and organic syntheses. We are looking for a committed chemist (66% TV-L EG13, limited to 3 years, with the option of a doctorate) to start on approx. May 1, 2026.

Requirements include a degree in chemistry and in-depth knowledge of organic synthesis, metal-free catalysis, and analytics (including MS, NMR). Good comment of German is an advantage

Tasks include the development of catalytic methods, participation in organic chemistry lab courses (including EW, LBT, Bio), and organizational contributions in the department of Organic Chemistry.
