Module

A module is a self-contained learning unit, summarizing different areas in examinable units with credit points. Modules contain courses that are related in terms of content and are held within a specific time period.
Modules may consist of different forms of teaching and learning, such as lectures, tutorials, internships, or self-study. Thus, it should be possible to complete them within one single semester or also in several semesters. In each module, students have to take course-related examinations. For the successful completion of a module, 6 credits are assigned. The number of credit points in a module is calculated according to the students' average workload (= workload) for the successful completion of this module.

You can find an overview of all modules of the respective program in the module catalog.
