The University of Hohenheim is located on the southern outskirts of Stuttgart and is the oldest - and most beautiful - of Stuttgart's universities. Surrounded by botanical gardens and experimental areas, the university offers a unique atmosphere for studying and working. Hohenheim is one of the few campus universities in Germany, which means that all important facilities such as lecture halls, institutes, language center, library, computer rooms, cafeteria, and the Office of International Affairs are within walking distance. The city center itself is about 30 minutes away by public transport.
