Education for Business and Economics

The Master's degree program in Education for Business and Economics is a research-based degree program focused on the future with a hands-on approach. It combines content from the disciplines of economics, pedagogy, and psychology to create a qualification program that prepares you for a wide range of tasks in the active design, strategic management and systematic research of processes in (business) vocational education and training. The more pervasive digital technologies for education are, the more important all of these tasks become. In addition to the Business Administration and Economics degree program and the program in Education for Business and Economics, you can deepen your personal study profile by specializing in one of many profile areas.

The Master's program in Education for Business and Economics builds on the Bachelor's program in Education for Business and Economics. Two elective areas are available for selection: Business Administration and Economics major or general education major. In addition to Bachelor's graduates in Education for Business and Economics, the program is also open to Diplom and Bachelor's graduates in other business and economics programs who meet the formal requirements. The successful completion of the Master's program enables, among other things, entry into the preparatory service at vocational schools in Baden-Württemberg in order to work as a teacher.

Admission requirements	1. Completed Bachelor's degree with a standard period of study of at least 3 2. Degree in Business and Economics with work done in pedagogy or a degree in Education for Business and Economics 3. Sufficient English proficiency 4. Practical school experience
Selection criteria	None, but the admission requirements must be met. For details, see the Admission Regulations (in German).
It is possible to apply to a higher semester for the winter semester (application deadline: 15 June) and for the summer semester (application deadline: 15 Jan).
