Storm low "Sabine": Informations for University members [09.02.20]
Stormy gusts are expected in Baden-Württemberg. The University of Hohenheim will remain open on Monday, 10th February 2020. The university management recommends increased attentiveness: safety first!
Employees and students at the University of Hohenheim should keep an eye on the current weather situation and the conditions of railways and roads and decide for themselves whether it is possible to get to the University safely. Please bear in mind: Safety first, nobody should put themselves in danger.
Please note for examinations: it is planned to let the examinations take place. "Should it not be possible for lecturers or students to come to the University due to the storm, we will find pragmatic solutions for this afterwards", informs the university management. There should be no disadvantages for students.
Employees who cannot come to the University please inform their respective superiors.
The stormy low brings hurricane-like gusts with it, the climax is expected in the night from Sunday to Monday. The official storm warning of the German Weather Service applies.
