The new student representatives  [29.06.16]

The new student representatives for the Student Parliament (StuPa), the Senate, and the Faculty Councils have been elected. All in all, 6 out of 9 lists will be joining the StuPa. At 20.4%, the voter turnout is significantly higher than in the last year.

It seems that campaigning in front of the canteen really pays off: Compared to last year, around 400 more students went to vote, raising the voter turnout from 15.8% to 20.4%.

The Student Parliament consists of 19 members. Sixteen members are elected by direct votes. The remaining three members are student members of the Senate and therefore automatically members of the StuPa.

The big newcomer is the KoWi list (1 seat). The green list obtained 2 seats (instead of 3 in the year before) and the other lists are represented by the same number of seats as in the last year.

The Juso-Hochschulgruppe, WiPäd, and RCDS Hohenheim lists did not make it into the StuPa.
