Beschreibung
Invasive alien species are a global phenomenon and often have detrimental effects on the fauna and flora biodiversity. In Ethiopia, Prosopis juliflora invasion has been devastating; rangeland areas have been degraded and forage grass productivity has declined drastically as a result. Soil erosion and a loss in livestock productivity have been the consequences, leading to fewer and lower quality rangeland sites available to pastoralists.
