This project is part of the research training group Water-People-Agriculture

Research objectives:

· Set up a new high-resolution ensemble-based seasonal forecast system

· Investigate the forecast skill of the model system

· Investigate the evolution of water and energy cycles on the seasonal scale at the Horn of Africa

· Study land-surface-atmosphere feedback in Tropical regions

· Study the implications of seasonal forecast with respect to the protection of mankind and the environment
