International Business and Economics

The Master’s program in International Business and Economics is a two-year, internationally oriented program that combines content from the fields of international business and economics. The program provides you with a holistic and analytical understanding of how to solve current global economic challenges. You choose two of the four specializations Innovation Management and Economics, International Economics, Finance, and Data Analytics to shape your studies according to your interests. During your studies, you will acquire a knowledge base and skills that will help you get off to a successful start in an international career.

The Master’s degree program consists of the basic Master’s program “Methods in International Business and Economics,” plus two specializations which you can choose from four areas (Innovation Management & Economics, International Economics, Finance, Data Analytics). You complete your studies by writing a Master’s thesis. After you have refreshed and deepened your knowledge with the basic Master’s program, you can enhance your profile individually by choosing two of the four specialization subject areas: Innovation Management & Economics, International Economics, Finance, Data Analytics. With a degree in International Business and Economics, many doors are open for you to start your career. We prepare you for management or analyst positions. These could include joining a multinational company as a business analyst, or working in an interdisciplinary capacity for a start-up. Ideally, you already choose your focus according to your intended career field. Sufficient English language skills (proof of TOEFEL, IELTS, UNIcert or German university entrance qualification, except for native speakers and applicants who have completed an English-language Bachelor's degree)
