Funding programs and opportunities

We want to encourage you to tackle externally funded projects, either alone or in collaboration with other researchers, and to make the best possible use of the university’s consulting and funding opportunities.

Of course, we cannot describe every funding organization and program here.

The DFG funds basic research in all branches of science with up to €3 billion/year.

Funding is provided for individual projects, collaborative projects, and infrastructure, primarily "bottom up."
