Publication of announcements about awards, prizes, etc.

The University of Hohenheim publishes outstanding academic, political, or other social honors, honorable appointments, and first appointments of Hohenheim young scientists to a university professorship.

Criteria for publication

  • Outstanding honors, e.g.:
    Honorary doctorates, outstanding awards from expert societies, best paper / best poster awards, Federal Cross of Merit / State Medals.
  • Honorable appointments, e.g.:
    Committees for policy advising / scientific management, editorial boards, management of expert associations.
  • Outstanding athletic honors, e.g.:
    Olympic medals, 1st - 3rd Place in German / European / World Championships
  • Not published are:
    Conference contributions / conference proceedings, lectures, smaller honors, department anniversaries, etc.
