Statements

Henriette Keuffel (Master’s in Agribusiness, B.Sc. Business Administration)

“Proof of a longer stay abroad has almost become a requirement in your résumé anymore. But especially stays abroad related to agriculture are so much more than just a few lines on your CV. Why go abroad? Definitely to get a new view of things; to see how other people do their thing and, in the end, to be able to bring these experiences back home!”

Alina Kaelble (Master’s in Clinical Nutrition, B.Sc. Nutritional Science)

“For me, the semester abroad was one of the best experiences in my Bachelor’s program since I got to see a different type of teaching and also got to know a lot of new people from all over the world.”

Andre Velte (Master’s in Management, B.Sc. Business Administration and Economics)

“With my internship in Germany, I got the opportunity to do an internship abroad in the USA. The cultural competences I gained, improving my language proficiency in daily work, or taking on international responsibility are just a few of the benefits you gain from doing an internship abroad.”

Andreas Posselt (Head of HR Management Agriculture Segment BayWa AG)

“In the era of globalization and international networks, experience abroad brings a real added value for certain positions!”

Dr. Jochen Riebensahm (Senior Consultant, AGRI-associates Deutschland)

“Learning and developing foreign languages during your studies - even in small, regionally active companies, foreign language skills are valued.”

Dr. Dieter Meissner (Natural Scientist and Managing Director CET Business Academy GmbH)

“Yes, a stay abroad during your studies definitely makes sense - but only if it benefits your education!”
