Stuttgart & Hohenheim

The University of Hohenheim is located on the southern edge of Stuttgart, the capital of the state of Baden-Württemberg. It is the oldest - and most beautiful - of Stuttgart's universities. It is surrounded by lush gardens and well-equiped research stations, making it a unique and exciting place to study and work.

Hohenheim is one of a very few campus universities in Germany. As such, all lecture rooms, facilities, such as the library, language center, computer rooms, canteen, as well as lecture rooms, faculties and the Office of International Affairs are easily accessible on foot. The trip to downtown Stuttgart takes only 30 min. with public transport.

Hohenheim has long been a university with a distinctly international orientation and maintains contact to numerous partner universities. Roughly 12% of the almost 10,000 students are from more than 100 countries.
